The modern API threat landscape

APIs have become central to delivering dynamic, user-focused digital experiences across all sectors, from finance to healthcare to eCommerce. With the increasing integration of services, from microservices within an organization to third-party integrations, the number of APIs that an organization manages has risen dramatically:

The increased reliance on APIs has widened the attack surface, exposing organizations to a new range of threats. With APIs serving as the gatekeepers to critical data and services, they’ve become an attractive target for cybercriminals.
