Line Chart
A line chart connects several data points across a timeline to create a line, to showing trends over time.

Now it is time to start building a line chart. Use the following steps to create one:
- From the Data pane, select the required fields for analysis. The preceding chart uses Superstore Data with Order, Date, and Profit.
- Drag the dimension that represents the time periods onto the Columns shelf.
- Drag the measure to analyze the trend onto the Rows shelf.
