Lighting and Rendering Your Model
In this chapter, you will learn about different lighting techniques from cinematography, and how to build these light setups inside of ZBrush.
You will also get familiar with rendering basics, using the BPR functionality to create renders that include simulated shadows, anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion, and more. Then we will go over the available render passes and export renders of the demon bust that we have been working on across the previous chapters.
Last but not least, you will learn how to create a turntable video in ZBrush, which will let you make impressive personal projects featuring images and video material that showcase your sculpture from every angle.
It is important to note here that in a professional environment, lighting and rendering are usually done outside of ZBrush, but when it comes to preparing a simple presentation of your work, some of these tips can come in handy.
