Recap of what we have learned so far

Let's look back at Chapter 5, Remote Pair Programming Setup, and list the main lessons about video and audio. We want to create a great virtual experience for our partner, which is why we want to put so much effort into all these technical details.

There are some general lessons that we can apply to both video and audio, and we will get into specific details of both of them.

General technical aspects

These are some general technical requirements that we talked about in Chapter 5, Remote Pair Programming Setup. It's worth mentioning that none of the items on this list are compulsory, but all of them are important for a great experience:

• Internet speed of at least 10 Mbit/s download and 5 Mbit/s upload.
• Use a wired internet connection.
• Use a room free of background noise.
