Exporting and importing a solution
Now that we have two different environments, let’s export the solution that we created in the previous chapter since it was built in the default solution and import it into our new environment so we can build tables and add data. This process allows us to begin building tables and adding data effectively:
- Navigate to the default environment using the top Environment button.
- Click on Solutions on the left navigation.
- Click on the Event Planning Project solution.

- Click on the Overview option on the left navigation panel.
- Click Export on the top navigation panel.
- It is best practice to click Publish before you continue to export to ensure all your changes have been saved and published to the solution.
- You’ll notice that the version number has increased.
