Applications of Neuro-Symbolic AI

Neuro-symbolic AI (NSAI) has ignited a new hope in machine-enabled human-level reasoning. The NSAI paradigm is being widely adopted in both business and academia. The number of NSAI applications has been on a steady increase, especially throughout the last 2 years or so. Both the research and business industries appear to be reacting positively toward this emerging framework. Since 2019, Google Scholar has ranked over 3,000 works of literature focusing on NSAI and its applications. Throughout this time, we have witnessed the birth of various NSAI use cases from a diverse pool of industries. Business investment in NSAI is a vital feat to achieve. Besides promoting further academic advancement, a healthy number of technical use cases also enable us to study and better understand the implications imposed by NSAI and assess its outlook.
