Statistics
Moodle has a built-in statistics module, which you can reach by going to Reports | Statistics. By default, the component is disabled; this has to be changed first (Enable statistics in Advanced features) along with some settings.
Statistics settings
The Statistics module is deactivated by default due to the fact that the component is very resource-hungry both in terms of disk space usage and, more importantly, memory usage.
Tip
Use the Statistics module only if you really require the information and can accept some potentially significant performance reduction.
You can locate the statistics settings by navigating to Server | Statistics. The following parameters are available:
