The toolkit in Team Foundation Server provides tooling for both manual and automation testing. Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), first introduced with TFS 2010, enables testers to plan, track, and run manual, exploratory, and automated tests. While Test Manager fully integrates with TFS, it does not offer any integration with other testing platforms. The Test Manager architecture does not lend itself to extensibility.
