REST Integration

Upon Brenda’s request, Sarah, in collaboration with her client Rob the Builder, faced the task of seamlessly integrating new invoice tables managed within Dataverse. The accounts team had implemented a custom table for manual invoice entries into Dataverse. Tasked with optimizing this process, Sarah was asked to construct a web page capable of efficiently integrating and importing invoices into the accounting system. Notably, the client’s accounting system operated using REST, laying the foundation for Sarah to explore and implement REST-based solutions for streamlined data exchange. Sarah, not quite knowing what would be involved, agreed and then took a few days to read and research and this is what she learned.
