Along with the features that have been added to this latest 7.7 release, VMware has also enhanced the scalability of Horizon, adding support for larger deployments. These features are as follows:
- A single vCenter Server now has the ability to manage multiple pods when using the Cloud Pod Architecture.
- Support for up to 500 RDSH servers in a farm.
- vMotion support for Linked Clone and automated desktop pools with full virtual machines.
- vMotion support for Full Clone, Instant Clone, and Linked Clone virtual desktop machines that are configured to use vGPU.
