Summary

In this chapter, we started by configuring an Azure Automation account and then looked at automating Azure Virtual Desktop tasks such as logging multiple sessions of session hosts within all host pools as an example. Finally, we ran through the setup of a scaling plan, configuring a schedule, and assigning host pools to a scaling plan.

In the next chapter, we will look at the topic of monitoring and managing the performance and health of an Azure Virtual Desktop environment.
