Using samples in the Song Editor
When you first open LMMS, there is a Sample Track. It is different from the audiofile processors that we usually use. On these tracks, we can place an audio file directly on the track, and it will show up as an element. For our requirement, we are going to find some strange sounds on the Internet that are royalty free (see Chapter 6, Finding and Creating New Noises).
I like to leave my looped song running in the background, while I browse sites such as ccMixter for a sample that I can use. In this case, we've landed on a sample called Itty-bitty-tiger-ditty.
