What is vCenter Operations?

VMware vCenter Operations is a software suite for real-time performance management of the virtual environment. Its role is to diagnose and fix performance issues of individual components as well as the entire virtual infrastructure.

There are four editions available. Components available with the editions of the suite include vCenter Operations Manager, vCenter Configuration Manager, vCenter Infrastructure Navigator, and vCenter Chargeback Manager.
