What are the out-of-the-box Microsoft Lists features?
The Microsoft Lists application comes with several out-of-the-box features that will help you to build your own lists to manage your work and to collaborate with your co-workers.
To better help you understand each one of these features, we will describe them throughout the chapter with real-world scenarios whenever this is justified.
Column types
Column types are the main foundation of Lists, as you saw in Chapter 2, Creating Your First List. Each column has a data type associated with it that is responsible for the way data is displayed and stored in lists.
