Getting help

Whether you are new to Linux or a long-time user, from time to time, you'll need help. It's impossible to remember all available commands and their parameters. Almost every command has a --help parameter, and there is sometimes documentation installed in the /usr/share/doc directories, but the most important sources of information are the information documents and man-pages.
