Summary
This chapter concludes the (simplified) product design journey which began with a definition of needs, and ends in testing the resulting product. Subjecting the design to continuous validation and testing is one of the key tenants of experience design. At the core of the approach is the belief that good design is the result of quick iterative evolution of a concept to full design through frequent engagement and participation of its actual end users.
In the final chapter, an exploration of key topics related to the future of Experience Design, and the ways in which our own lives might be impacted by emerging new experiences.
