Chapter 6: Microsoft Teams Rooms
When it comes to hosting meetings and displaying content for in-person and hybrid meetings, you have a few options: using a presenter's device to share and project content or using a dedicated system called a Microsoft Teams Room or MTR. An MTR is a device that enables video sharing, audio conferencing, and a digital workspace for both in-person and remote meeting participants.
In this chapter, we will look at some of the basics of Microsoft Teams Rooms, including:
- Licensing
- Configuration and recommendations
- Managing room scheduling
By the end of this chapter, you'll have an understanding of what it takes to get MTR devices provisioned and configured and how to make them available for users.
