Summary
In this chapter, we learned that each database can be viewed inline, with other blocks, or in a full-page view. A database can have multiple views with six types: a Table view, List view, Board view, Gallery view, Calendar view, and Timeline view. Each database can have linked views that can be placed anywhere in the workspace using the same data and information from the original database, also allowing multiple views unique to that linked database.
Each database view has unique viewing options, often utilizing specific property types, but some property types have multiple uses, such as the relation and rollup properties affecting the filtering and sorting features of databases differently, which will be covered in the next chapter.
