With this chapter, we conclude the most technical part of this book and all the topics included in our Optimize pillar.

We have reviewed all the different kinds of storage that can be used in the cloud and how they work, as it is often difficult to fully understand it from cloud provider documentation in our experience. Apart from the introductory section in this chapter, which was full of storage concepts and options, we delved into how to apply different optimization initiatives and ideas for cost optimization related to Cloud Storage, highlighting the key topics to be aware of and showing examples at each step of the way.

We hope that, although technical and sometimes deep and lengthy, these chapters have proven to be useful for your future FinOps endeavors.
