In this chapter, you have learned about a variety of monitoring tools available in Azure. You played around with Azure Monitor and were able to retrieve performance counters for your application, such as request rate, CPU usage, and failed requests. You learned about different options for persisting and analyzing logs by using Azure Blob Storage and Log Analytics workspaces. You also learned about Application Insights – the most powerful tool for monitoring and troubleshooting applications running on Azure platforms or on-premises.
