Identity Verification

Identity verification is the process of confirming that a person’s claimed identity matches their actual identity. It involves gathering and verifying information about an individual, such as their name, date of birth, social security number, and other personal identifying information. The goal of identity verification is to prevent identity theft, fraud, and other types of malicious activity by ensuring that the person accessing a system or service is who they claim to be.

Identity verification can be accomplished using a variety of methods:
