Administering Looker and monitoring its usage is important to your Looker journey.
The Looker Admin section in Looker’s interface is your command center for managing your organization’s seamless and effective data analytics experience. Within its walls lies a vast array of tools and functionalities, carefully crafted to empower Looker’s administrators with the following administration functions: General, System Activity, Users, Database, Alerts & Schedules, Platform, and Authentication.
Some administrative functions can be performed from your Google Cloud project where your Looker (Google Cloud core) instance sits: view and edit instance details of the instance, manage user access, set up a custom domain, leverage VPC Service Controls (for certain instance types), enable CMEK (should be set up before the instance creation), import or export data, manage maintenance policies, and delete instances.
