Importing the Site Deployment Object File


Now that we have created the required virtual directories, let’s import the database objects using the Site Deployment Manager.

  1. 1. Open Site Manager and log in with an MCMS administrator account.

  2. 2. From the menu, select File | Package | Import....

  3. 3. In the Site Deployment Import dialog, click the Browse... button. Navigate to the TropicalGreen_Final.sdo file located in the directory containing the extracted files.

  4. 4. In the Container Rules tab, set the following:

    Property

    Value

    When Adding Containers

    Use package container rights

    When Replacing Containers

    Keep destination container rights

  5. 5. In the Rights Group tab set the following:

    Property

    Value

    Select how Rights Groups are imported

    Import User Rights Groups

  6. 7. Click Import.

  7. 8. The Import Confirmation dialog appears. Click Continue.
