Exporting layers
Now that we have seen how to export the three different layer comps from the same document, let’s look at how we can export an individual layer from a document.
Exporting an individual layer from a document allows you to use a single layer for a number of use cases, depending on what you need it for.
For example, you may be working on a team project for a comic book. Let’s say that book is about women on the rise. The team member in charge of designing the book cover and interior design may need some elements from the illustrations to design the book cover, and so on. You can export individual layers – for example, Butterfly Wings and Flowers – separately as PNG files to add around the title of the front cover and parts of the interior pages.
