Setting steps to create a path

On the Prezi screen is an area to the left that we have not yet used—the grey panel. This small grey area includes some of the features that are key factors of the Prezi magic, as this is where we set the route for our "passengers" (that is, the audience) for their ride through our Prezi presentation. In other words, this grey panel to the left is dedicated to working with your path.

To access the features in the path lane in order to create or edit your path, you must be in Edit Path mode.

You activate edit path mode by clicking on Edit Path in the lower-left corner of the Prezi screen, as shown in the following screenshot:

Getting ready

If you want to use these recipes as an exercise, we suggest that you prepare by making sure of the following:

  1. Work with at least five elements on the canvas.
  2. Make sure your prezi has no path (if you need to clear your path, switch to path mode and click on Clear All at the bottom of the path lane).
