A standardized method for the security assessment, authorization, and ongoing monitoring of cloud products and services is offered by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), which is a government-wide initiative in the United States. For cloud deployments and service models at the low- and moderate-risk impact levels within federal agencies, it is an obligatory program.
