Summary
In this chapter, we learned how to create questions in several different ways. We learned about the importance of questions and how they are the fundamental building blocks for all the analytics we do in Metabase. We learned how to use Metabase's notebook-style editor to create custom questions and do complex operations, such as joins and creating custom columns and expressions. We learned how to save our finished questions and put them into collections for better organization. We also saw a few different ways that questions can be represented visually.
In the next chapter, we'll learn more about the various ways we can visualize data in Metabase. We'll cover all the different visualizations offered and learn about what types of visualizations are appropriate for different types of data.
