Configuring ASC
ASC is a next-generation security-management service provided by Azure that offers ATP to your environment for both cloud and on-premises resources. ASC leverages Microsoft's cloud ecosystem to process trillions of signals using machine learning to help detect and protect against many different threats.
Both the Windows and Linux operating systems are supported by ASC. In addition, integration with MDATP is available with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, and 2016. For information about the most current supported platforms, visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/security-center/security-center-os-coverage.
