Using the preset palettes
Manga Studio 5 has many ways to pick colors other than using the color sets. We'll take a look at these as we look at the color sets, so that you're familiar with all the options and can use them to your advantage.
Color circle
We'll start with the Color circle menu, which you can locate by default on the left-hand side of Manga Studio 5 at the bottom. If you don't see it, simply go to the Window menu at the top of the screen and then select the Color circle option. This will bring up the appropriate menu. The color circle is—appropriately enough—a circle with a slider outside of either a square or a triangle. The outside slider controls the overall hue, while the inside square or triangle allows you to pick more or less intense or saturated variations of the chosen hue.
