Notes

Mahara notes are simply snippets of text that can be re-used between the various portfolio pages that you create. They become useful when using the text box block within pages.

I think you can probably see how this would be a huge time saver! Rather than having to copy and paste the same text into each page, you can simply define that block of text once, and select it over and over again.

When you change the snippet, you will be changing all of the instances of that text, meaning you don't have to go through all the pages and add it again.

You can also choose to make a copy of a note. This means that if the note ever gets changed as described above, your text box isn't affected.
