VR deployment

In this section, we will discuss the following procedures for deploying the VR appliance:

1. We download the VMware VR software (OVA file) from the VMware website (https://www.vmware.com/):

2. We need to deploy the OVA file and connect to the VxRail cluster with the vSphere Web Client. Right-click on a data center, host, or cluster and select Deploy OVF Template…:

3. Select Local file and then click the Choose Files button to upload the OVF template:

4. The VR software is an ISO image (downloaded in step 1). Mount this ISO image on a system in your workstation, navigate to the \bin directory in the ISO image, and then select the vSphere_Replication-system.vmdk, vSphere_Replication-support.vmdk, vSphere_Replication_OVF10.ovf, vSphere_Replication_OVF10.mf, and vSphere_Replication_OVF10.cert files:
