We will start by creating a ForgeRock account.

Creating a ForgeRock software platform account

This step is optional and only required if you don’t have a ForgeRock software platform account, also known as a backstage account:

1. To create a ForgeRock software platform trial account, go to https://www.forgerock.com/trial-registration.
2. Enter the required information and click REGISTER:

This will initiate the process of creating a new trial account with ForgeRock:

With that, your ForgeRock account will be created.

Signing into your backstage account for the first time

Log in with your backstage account at https://sso.forgerock.com/UI/Login?goto=https%3A%2F%2Fbackstage.forgerock.com%2Fdownloads. Then, follow these steps:
