In this chapter, we will cover:
- VPC networks
- Firewall rules
- VPC peering
- Private Google access
- Other networking concepts
In this chapter, we will discuss GCP VPC networking. Google offers lower latency and superior VPC networking capabilities than its competitors. We will begin the chapter by looking at VPC networks, firewall rules, and routing. We will also discuss an interesting concept of VPC peering and how it can help you connect multiple VPC networks to behave as an internal RFP 1918 environment. We will then look into other special configurations such as Private Google access. Before we end the chapter, we will briefly discuss other networking concepts of GCP.
