In this chapter, you have learned about the different types of storage accounts available to Azure (Standard GPv2, Premium block blobs, Premium file shares, and Premium page blobs), the different access tiers (hot, cool, cold, and archive), disk storage options (Standard HDD, Standard SSD, Premium SSD, and Ultra Disk), and the various redundancy options. You have also created a storage account using both the Azure portal and a PowerShell script. You now have the skills required for choosing the correct storage in Azure and knowledge on deploying a storage account, which will serve as the foundational block for shared storage, such as Azure Files and Blob Storage.
