Looking back at all three independent, different attempts, all of them failed shortly after inception, or made no positive impact, as in the case of MSO.
Couldn’t we simply learn the useful and critical points from these implementation stories and do a better job next time?
Frankly, to the credit of the company’s culture, there was no particular or harsh blame toward IT for “not making it happen.” In some way, many felt that they also left a footprint in this story, and not necessarily the best one. It was a sense of shared responsibility for not succeeding with the desired intent.
