What is the true value of the data stored in our enterprises?

This fundamental question wasn’t initially our primary focus when working on various data improvement and data usage initiatives as we were more concerned with directly addressing business demands and determining what was immediately important for the business. There was scarcely any time to pause and research the significant monetary value of data beyond addressing operational and marketing needs.

Even when we began measuring our impact through revenue generation or time savings for our sellers, the real value of data remained unclear.
