Enabling and publishing Viva Connections in Teams

Finally, when needed Viva Connections experiences are configured and targeted, curation of the feed is planned, and all dashboards are configured, the last step is to publish Viva Connections to users in Teams.

Microsoft has preinstalled the Viva Connections application to the Microsoft Teams app catalog. The Viva Connections application supports customization so that organizations can name the app and add descriptions and application logos. Customization is done by opening the Manage apps view from the Teams admin center and searching for Viva Connections:

Specific settings can be changed on the Customize panel. When changing logos, it’s important to check the requirements for them, especially the Outline icon, whose requirements are quite detailed. When settings are updated, it may take several hours to see the changes on Microsoft Teams.
