Getting your first sound into the CryENGINE
Now that we've sufficiently beat the theory behind the sound system to death, let's get to the more exciting process of getting our first sound assets into the engine! Background environment sound often consists of both ambient sound loops and random one-shots. A good example of this is inside a cave, where there is an ambient wind, and some random one-shots of drips of water falling. Typically, the random one-shots are used to sweeten the environmental sound, whereas the main environment loop is there to set the atmosphere.
