Adding devices to the remote poller

The final step is assigning devices to the remote poller. Let's have a look on the options we have.

Time for action – setting up the remote poller system

The following steps describe how to set up the remote poller system:

1. Log on to the master Cacti system.
2. Got to the Console | Devices.
3. Click on a device which you want to be polled from a remote poller.

4. You will see a field called Poller Association with a drop-down box. Here, you can select the remote poller you want this device to be polled from:

6. Go back to the device overview, select several devices, and choose the Change Device Settings from the drop-down box:
