Summary

In this chapter, you learned about the empty object and how it can be used to pull in reference images. You learned how to set Transparency and X-Ray Mode to assist with your modeling. You scaled your empty objects and adjusted for differences in photograph sizes. You got to practice mesh modeling techniques to build the base of the house figurine. You learned two ways to match the size of the cube to your house. You learned how to Extrude parts of an existing 3D object and how to merge vertices to make a roof.
