A few years ago, Salesforce started to add value-added licenses on top of their classic user licenses. A plethora of AI functionalities was rolled out under the badge of "Salesforce Einstein." The number of these different sub-products has quickly grown up, and the market got puzzled with so many options to choose from. Moreover, the Salesforce professionals themselves got confused on "how" to use them.These features were not as easy to turn on or work with as other classic Salesforce features (where you simply spawn a developer sandbox and try them on).And with the high demand for AI-powered solutions, the common challenges were:When can I use Einstein capabilities, and what considerations should I be aware of?- Which Einstein capability should I be considering for my use cases (away from the sales buzz)?- What should be the considerations if we need to use a third-party AI solution?Lars created what I would like to call an "Einsteinopedia." A single resource that explains them all. You don't find much content about AI + Salesforce. This book gives you what you need to understand the Einstein platform and why you should consider it for your business.Highly recommend it.

As a Salesforce architect I really enjoyed reading this book. It is well structured, clearly written, it contains applicable use cases and here are some other things that I liked the most: 1. Each AI feature contains a section for architectural considerations and tradeoffs. 2. As well as the architectural considerations in each section, there is an entire "Decision Guide" section at the end. 3. The book contains a company example scenario that will be used throughout the book to explain each AI feature in an easier way to understand it. 4. It contains deployment strategies for each feature as well as the amount of data needed and what will be the caveats to consider based on not accurate data. 5. It is not just salesforce AI features, the book includes also 3rd party apps examples that you can integrate withThis is a book that should be carried as a ready reference while architecting AI solutions on Salesforce

Excellent book! This is precisely what I was looking for. If you need a get started guide for salesforce AI, look no further. The explanations are clear and very easy to follow. You do need some experience on salesforce platform/ecosystem and messing around with AI to get some of the concepts.The book is one of those you keep on your desk as reference and fill it with Post-it notes so you can go back and delve into certain tools or techniques it describes that you'll find are exactly what you need in solving the problem at hand.
