Interacting with the Chatbot
Using Connect to interact with your chatbot by voice requires you to first set up a call center within Connect. The call center receives a free local phone number (or a US toll-free number in the United States). This number can be connected to an Amazon Lex chatbot; in our case, this will be the chatbot that we have already created (MarketNanny
). The chatbot uses the Lambda serverless service to get data from an external API and relay it back to the user on the phone:
