Building a talent pool
In the IT industry, it is always we and never I. Dependency on an individual is not considered a sustainable model as you can’t achieve much with an individual. It takes a team to move mountains. So, building a great team is paramount. When it comes to building teams and a talent pool, an SA has to contribute, as they are experienced and seasoned professionals and are the best resources for mentoring and guiding teams. It will also help to have a successor ready to take over the baton from the SA if they ever leave or retire from the company.
So, what is a talent pool?
A talent pool is a group of individuals who are cross-trained and can take up any kind of techno/functional job in the area of their expertise. In our scenario, it is RPA.
