Chapter 5. Doug Hellmann
Doug Hellmann is an American software developer and author. He is a fellow of the Python Software Foundation (PSF) and served as communications director for almost two years. Doug was a columnist for the Python Magazine, before becoming editor-in-chief. He also created and sustained the popular Python Module of the Week blog, which was compiled and published in his book, The Python 3 Standard Library by Example. Doug works as a senior principal software engineer at Red Hat, where he focuses on community leadership and achieving long-term sustainability for OpenStack.
