Embedding a Power App in a Power BI report

In the previous sections, we focused on embedding Power BI dashboard tiles and reports within either a canvas app or a model-driven app. However, there is also the ability to integrate in the other direction, which is embedding a Power App directly in a Power BI report. This integration also enables the ability to directly pass data from a Power BI report, including as visuals are being interacted with, immediately to the embedded Power App.

We are going to discuss two scenarios related to embedding a Power App directly in a Power BI report. To help with these two scenarios, we’re going to provide a specific use case example. In Figure 10.22, a simple Power BI report that provides a table of our current vendors is displayed:
