Environment operations

There are many operations that can be performed on environments:

• Create: New environments can be created. You can specify that the environment is a trial, production, or sandbox. You can optionally create a CDS database.
• Switch: You can edit an environment and switch environment type but only switch between sandbox and production and vice versa.
• Delete: Sandbox, trial, and support environments can be deleted. You cannot delete a production environment, but you can change it to a sandbox and then delete it. You cannot delete the default environment.
• Convert: You can convert a trial environment to production.
• Reset: Sandbox environments can be reset, which will delete all customizations, data, apps, and flows from the environment. 
• Copy: You can copy a production or sandbox environment to a sandbox environment. There are two options when copying: copy over everything or copy over customizations and schemas only. After the copy, the environment will be in administration...
