Exporting videos

Now it's time to export our amazing clips and convert them into a movie that can be sent to the client or even broadcasted on TV. This recipe is simple to follow, but there are some characteristics that we need to take into consideration before exporting the movie. We will not only learn how to export a movie, but also form some guidelines to improve the rendering time.

Getting ready

For this recipe, we at least need a clip that uses the recording option or other two options such as importing an image or an external video file.

How to do it…

To export a video, perform the following steps:

1. Start by opening the Movie mode.
2. With this mode open, create a clip if you don't have any clip present in your project.
3. While creating the clips, you can verify the reflections and lights that are used by pressing the U key. This feature shows the reflections and lights in full quality and helps you check whether you need to make any further adjustments.
