All of our applications require containers to run, so we will use a Docker container to enable them to run.
These are few steps that will help us do that:
- Add the Docker repository as follows:
sudo yum- config-manager --add-repo https://download.docker.com/linux/centos/docker-ce.repo
You can see the path to where the Docker repository is saved, as follows:
- Install Docker with the following command (we're using the Community Edition of Docker here):
sudo yum install docker-ce
We are installing Docker version 17.12.0. We have now installed the Docker containers—repeat the same steps for slave2 and slave3.
- Next, start the service with the following command:
sudo service docker start
- Now let's check the status:
sudo service docker status
