Compiling the document metadata
Before distributing your work, you should take care in compiling the document metadata, including the license information. This data is usually extracted by content management systems, search engines, and file managers in some operating systems.
How to do it...
The following steps will demonstrate how to compile the document metadata:
1. Save a new file (Shift + Ctrl + S) under the name

.2. Open the Document Metadata dialog by going to File | Document Metadata.
3. Under the Metadata tab are the Dublin Core Entities fields. Enter the title of your drawing into the Title: field; in this case it's "Empty Space".

4. Insert the current date or the date when the document is to be released into the Date: field in the ISO 8601 format, one of the forms is YYYY-MM-DD, such as 2011-01-01.
