Most enterprises are going through the digital transformation journey to better understand their customers and deliver products and services that suit their needs. This has led to a proliferation of applications/systems that aim to improve the customer experience. Consequently, a large, diverse dataset has been made available by these applications/systems.
This presents us with a unique opportunity to leverage data for better decision-making, but this also poses a challenge in finding the data when we need it. Furthermore, how do we decide what dataset would best fit our needs? Are we able to trust the quality of the data? These questions are becoming the norm, and enterprises are grappling to address them as they focus on tapping into their most valuable resource: data.
